First night back at work and I can confirm my mates focus st looks the absolute nuts.

He's done it a matte audi RS/that bright porsche blue colour.

Can't get pics just now as it's dark out but should get some next week when I change shift.

Spoke to him quickly and it took him 3 days in a booth. He removed door handles, lights, spoiler etc then masked everything up properly.

Tbh it's always going to be better indoors but given how rough plasti dip feels I don't think you would be all that bothered with a bit of dust in it here or there

It looks darker in daylight but still nice. Certainly the most unique looking focus st in the car park and stands out amongst a sea of white st's.

On the right car I think it would look lovely. With no other mods it doesn't suit the car. That aside, job looks decent

that's how i feel about it, the car needs to be special looking already to pull it off. I've sort of gone off the idea since thinking about it.

That Focus does look shit tbh.

Kind of looks like a prototype where they don't want you to see what's underneath.

You're 1 out of 100 people who don't seem to like it then it looks great and the matt finish shows off all the swage lines better than the factory white paint.

Getting turned on by swage lines, what's the world coming to lol.

Maybe those other 99 people say they like it, but are actually just scared to say they don't.

The worse thing about that focus is that from that angle you can't really tell if its a Zetec or a ST.

Found this one on the Facebook page of the guy who sold him the stuff/let him use his booth to spray. It's going back at Xmas as px for a new shape one so he can just peel it off and they's be none the wiser. It'll also protect the paintwork nicely.

Love the matte effect it gives, much better texture than wraps and paint IMO

I've never personally been a massive fan of matte paint on cars, but the focus rs500 looks pretty awesome, as does this z4m coupe:
