As far as I know mate, they are all linked. As are the police, which is how they know whether you are insured or not, after doing a reg check.

Speaking of insurance bartering -
Adrian Flux sent me a renewal of £591. Tesco quoted £367 and GA quoted £232.
They immediately came down to £357 and said they couldn't discount anymore then asked why I wanted to cancel.

ive had that, had a renewal of about 800 and found a decent quote of just under 300. told the guy on the phone i was cancelling and he came back to me sounding dead smug saying he'd got my quote down fro 8 to 500. i said i still wanted to cancel and he kept asking why
