It's just the speed it carries, you stand no chance keeping up in the corners and then you're miles behind on the straights too.

Fitted some gay blue ignition leads yesterday as the original, 9 year old renault ones kept popping off the engine and causing an intermittent misfire which could only be solved by removing the inlet manifold to plug them back on, which as you'd expect, was irritating as fuck. Looks super chav now

Which top mounts are you running Robin? I've noticed you have some camber adjustment on them?

Got hold of a phase 1 172 airbox to try out, the car currently has a borrowed k&n typhoon kit as the standard airbox is too deep to fit with the oil cooler pipes.

MOT time this week too!

Just can't get the 182 airbox to fit, that's the only reason I'm doing this

Is it suitable to use as a replacement for a normal battery?

It's got a higher cranking output so hopefully should be ok.

I researched these loads when I was looking for space for that old catch-can I had.

Came to read that most people with them used tricklechargers overnight.

Most people say that with the smaller ones, the Powervamp '22' size but this is a little bigger and everyone reckons it's fine unless it's mega cold.

We'll see! If it doesn't work, I'll put the old one back on and find an alternative induction solution.
