Shaw looks awesome, silly money for a kid though. Type of transfer that fucks everyone else, next kid showing decent promise is now worth 10's of millions on the 'Shaw scale'. Same thing happened with Andy Carroll and everyone still uses him as a barometer for other transfers.

Ludicrous amount of money, but then again if he continues to develop at the rate he currently is, it could be a shrewd signing for a player with a decade and a half left in his legs. Its a bold signal of intention from United. But I feel they have more pressing issues than their LB.

The fact that the shirts probably haven't been washed from the final game and they've already thrown £27,000,000 on the table sends out a big signal of intent. Question is, who's buying the players?
Should have thrown that cash at Agnelli's feet and told Vidal to pack his bags though. His stock will only go higher at the WC.
