Is it easy? If so, how do you do it?

Any gameboy emulator off the app store, search for the appropriate ROM that you'd like.

I did this to keep me entertained on a night shift.

On the play store get the myboy gameboy advance emulator. Then find the ROM for the game you want online. My choice was Pokemon red! I'm now addicted just like when I was a kid!

Yeah as long as you can find the ROM. I've had no problems yet.

Any android phone. Can play most things, SNES, N64, etc. They're mostly shit though due to the on screen controls imo.

Just download an emulator from store, then go on coolrom on your mobile and download it straight onto device, saves you messing about. Will be novel at first I'm sure.

Well just search for 'console' + emulator, eg Gameboy emulator.

You can add the emulator to your screen, then within that you'll have to select the rom.

Read about people using PS3 and Xbox controllers with Android devices, have you tried this? Not sure if it'll actually work with an emulator or not.

I haven't, no. Would deffo make it better but throws the portability aspect into question May as well carry a gameboy.

Seems you're spot on tho, simply a £1 cable from ebay and you're good to go, plus of course a wired controller. Cool little purchase for somebody with an android tablet for sure.

I played through Sonic 2 on Christmas day on my missus' Kindle and felt the on screen controls were actually really good!

I might buy a gameboy for my flights later this year, coolest kid on the plane

S'pose they're not too bad on particular games. Things like Golden Eye or Killer Instinct (couple of my faves) are hard work.
