Not really, iv driven it loads recently though.

What does the other side look like?

Guy at work was asking how well vinyl wrap stands up to scraping branches/hedges etc

Skoda are the same.

I needed a turbo to intercooler pipe.
About 15cm long with a 90degree bend.

Dealer price for standard part, £140.
Samco upgraded hose, £80 delivered.

Its got me thinking. Why isn't anyone investigating it. Or at least gathering a bit of evidence and presenting it to the dealers/tading standards.

It's easy to do, there are 100's of manufacturer parts that are branded with the same part numbers that the dealers just use and rebrand then sell on for double/triple the amount!

I would like to see what response you would get if you purchased for example a Gates timing kit off ebay for £60 then a dealership one that use the same parts just in a dealership branded box thats is twice the price

Some bits arrived

Oil Pressure switch for when I install the oil pressure dial. Figured might aswell be worth changing at the same time



And my fix for my sagging roof lining, a fibreglass version! I was pleasantly surprised at how good the finish is actually, it replicates a natural fibre look

Bloke at work has an immaculate red M reg 90 County. Replaced all the panels and had re sprayed. Must have polished at the weekend as all the black rubber and flaps were pristine.

Made a start on fitting the new fibreglass headlining.

Started off by ripping out all the old stuff, unfortunately my attempts to recover the existing stuff failed as all the cloth came away and was just hanging, looked like I just had a sheet stuck to my roof



Cut some holes in the new one, courtesy light and alarm sensors





Test fit of the light



Then the speaker holes





Its actually up in the landrover now, albeit without any ancillaries attached, haven't got any pics yet
