Fitted tyre on wheel will hopefully test in the ice and snow and whinlatter tomorrow morning. Old front tyre will go on the back until I can afford another smorgasbord

impressed by the chunky monkey tyre. I've lost a lot of confidence lately, yet that seemed to be fine with roots and muddy bits, whereas before i was all over the place. definitely struggling with fitness though ffs. diet and exercise regime will have to come in force once again.

went to penshurst offroad cycling(porc for short) today finally conquered my fear of hitting drops until 2 guys decided to hit the bigger of the 3 drops ending in one needing to be airlifted out due to a dislocated shoulder broken collar bone and fractured arm the guy was riding a santa cruz v10 carbon greg minaar rep £10000 worth of bike seeing that happen kinda put me off for the rest of the day

It's one of the things that really holds me back, well apart from being a right fat fucker, is the fear of how much it "might" hurt.

Just got a Clug - quite a cool way to store your bike! They only do road versions at the moment, but once the MTB version is released I'll be grabbing one of those for my other bike:

They do a MTB version on their site, looks good may get some for my garage.
