Are you not mounting a spare wheel on the back with the number plate incorporated along the bottom!?!?!
If its no then N0 1

Nah, not having a spare wheel on the back, I'm gona risk not having one unless I can source a
space saver in 13 or 14" in Ford fitment to fit in the boot along side the fuel tank.
I think I'll mount the fog light there with a detachable bracket to make it legal for the MOT.

I've had a search and it looks like Caterhams have the No. plate at the bottom, with the No. plate
light underneath shingling upwards, which I didn't know was allowed. In that case, I'll do the same to
avoid drilling the rear panel altogether.

Lined up the rear arches tonight properly too tonight, so I can drill the mounting
holes, dismantle and start painting!

I have some rear spacers to put on too (the wide arches make the rear axle look
really narrow). The angle I took the photo from didn't help!

If anyone wants to photoshop the rear panel orange, feel free

Nose cone 'vent' worked out better than I expected. It needs a bit of fettling/tidying up, but at least it fits!

Light location help for IVA test (assuming you're doing it legitimately).

Foglight will need to be a bit higher I think...

Fitted the headlights, now just need to attach the bonnet hinge and align it then it's spray time!

The bonnet was too wide, so I have cut a section out and re attached it.

The orangeness begins!

I'm going to do the nosecone, scuttle and rear panel orange and the bonnet black, cos it's so bright, it'll look like a dynorod van if the bonnets orange too!

It is very flat, yeah. A bit more so than I wanted really, but I knew it was going to be matt.
I'm currently awaiting a reply from spraydip, as of the 8 cans I bought, only 1 of the spray nozzles was sufficient to get an even spray (I tried all of them). I tried allsorts with the other nozzles to get them to spray, but they just wont and if they do, it's very sporadic and in great big blobs

Got the rear panel and scuttle painted yesterday

The auto leccy came round too and reckons he'll have it all fully functioning, including the digi dash within the next week or two.
He's going to pop over between jobs.
