The GTX770's are really good cards and up until 2 weeks ago cost approx £340 before the GTX780Ti was released.

So at the moment

770 - Approx £240
780 - Approx £390
780Ti - Approx £510

I'm quoting GTX770's in all my xmas builds (I batch buy components every year and sell gaming machines)

Cool, I didn't realise they were that expensive recently.

Would you think the GTX770 on my system would be worth while? with my other hardware.

Yes I think it's a worthy buy for your setup and will tie you over completely for some time, 2-3yrs in my opinion.
