I'll be leaving that, they always end up stone chipped to death and need respraying every so often. Mine is quite dark still though

Thought I might as well give this a bit of an update, thought about selling it and going for a 225 but decided to keep it for now.

So as it was my birthday on tuesday I went on eBay and saw this 197 steering wheel for a decent price with airbag so snapped it up. It arrived mid morning and to my relief the airbag was still in one piece!

I'm thinking about selling my KTEC filter system and either putting the money toward a whiteline ARB or a pure motorsport solid top mounts and strut brace, I'm a bit undecided as of yet.

Anyway a photo of the new wheel...

Haha I might have been running a little late, that with people doing 45mph on the A19 for no reason!

Not yet, tomorrow after work as I'm going to get a spacer to prevent it running on the steering column surround

Got rid of my ktec racing air filter today for a more favourable mod, a whiteline arb. In place of the air filter I've got a ktec panel filter, with a silicon elbow in a standard air box.

Whiteline fitted, be interesting to see how this alters the handling at the next track day.

Got the airbox swapped over, the one I received wasn't in the best shape, the top had a big crack in it etc. So I swapped the panel filter into my old airbox.

Also have 4x Federal 595RSR's to fit to those 15" alloys I got earlier in the year. Just in time as a couple of my road tyres are getting a little on the low side. They've stood up well though, 2 track days and 20k miles.

Just ordered a fresh expansion tank, mine's looking a bit grubby and will make the bay look a bit tidier.

The tyres paired up with the whiteline on the stiff setting are just epic. Grip so well, looking forward to testing them out at Blyton.

Having driven the RSR's on the road they are poor in comparison to a very good road tyre but with a bit of heat in them they are awesome.

Toying between getting a set of these or Nangkang NS2R's
