hello could anyone link a thread or give some experience with camber/caster/toe settings on a corsa b for track.

ive now got the modified tie bars to give 5/6 degree extra caster.

and ive now got the eibach camber bolts, so what would be best to set these upto, i will be using a hunter tracker at my brothers work.

i dont know if it matters but list of suspension is below.

avo coilovers front and back
poly race bushes throughout the whole car
cav 22mm rarb
rear strut brace
front lower strut brace
2.7 turn manual quick rack
front roll bar in place with blocks and polybushes
omp swede deep dish wheel and boss
vauxhall 15" alloys

car was a c20let but ive just fitted a rebuilt 175bhp redtop for reliablilty with f20.

so what camber settings would suit and recomend me a good track day tyre too

My cars not half as focused as yours but i had my camber set at just a tad over -1degree of camber and it made it so much better to drive. Ive never used it on track and my coilovers are only cheap fk ones but the turn in is so good set up how it is. Felt un responsive before now it changes direction like a rabbit on speed.lol

Wicked that's good to know when I got the car it had the standard 4.0 turn rack and no anti roll bar and standard bushes with no braces

It was a 300bhp c20let but it was horrible, one of the worst cars I've ever driven

That's why I sold the let and I've fitted a really nice. Xe and had quite abit of money to spend on setting it up

I also hated the v6 brakes so now fitted. 2.0 256mm brakes with tarot discs and ds2500 pads and braided lines too

I'd say - 2degree camber, 1 degree toe out on front. Not much else you change is there?

What tyres are you running? Semi slicks tend to need more camber

I've been told by a few people to use

4 degree positive caster
1.5 degree negative camber
Toe out 2mm

Cheers everyone I will be setting it all up this week

The more castor you can get the better.. Just be careful Of the wheel hitting the front of the inner arch. On track I'd say 2 or more degree camber, semi slick tyres need more or the roll onto the outer edge. 2 mm toe out should be about right but adjust it according to tyre temps after a session

Yeah, you can take someone's advice and leave it or play with settings to fine tune to your personal preference. Good luck!!

I think I'm going to try
Camber 1.5 degree negative
Caster 4/5 degree positive
Toe out 2.mm

And see how I get on
