Would somebody care to explain the difference on these, other than cost?

Both seem to come in a multitude of storage spaces and both have 3G or 3G & Wifi.

The Tab 2 can be had for circa £270 in 16gb Wifi guise where as the Note is circa £400.

And then how do these difference from the Google Nexus 10?

The only difference I've managed to find, is the note has the S Pen.

and I guess any hardware difference isn't going to be noticeable, especially with the Tab 2.

If there isn't much in it price-wise then get the Note, the extra ram and the four quicker cores will improve things in the long run.

Edit - Saying that, might be worth looking at reviews and see what battery life is like between the two.
