I wasted 300£ on a nitrous car. Drove it four times and each time something new broke / fell off. Couldn't be arsed to keep fixing it.

Shame, as it's good fun.

Top two pics look pretty cool, but then you see the comparison and it's a little disappointing

They run on petrol not the nitro fuel, much cheaper and not as much of the fiddling around as you get with nitro (apparently)

If I had the time and money I'd get back into it, I have a 1:10 scale Traxxas Revo 3.3, amazing bit of kit.

Sadly my 1:1 cars are draining all my spare time and money

I had one a while back when I was younger, spent to much money on it even though my parents told me not to waste my money.

Should have listened to them, used it 3 or 4 times then it sat under my bed collecting dust. The novelty wears off very fast.

theres a few wankers round here that go to the local b&q overflow car park to mess around with these.

fuckers think they own the place and cars aren't allowed to park in there.

cool bits of kit, although i can see the novelty wearing off quickly.

I've got a few nitro cars. HPi Tophy 4.6 and a Hyper 7 TQ. Just got a new engine for the Hyper 7 actually, which is half ran-in. Great laugh

1/8 is where it's at tbh. 1/5 seems a bit big/heavy for proper jumping.

Skateparks & bmx tracks are a good laugh. Me and a mate had free reign of a local skate park at one point, seeing a savage 20 feet in the air launching off a quarter pipe never gets old.
