But if I just browse the internet/internet shopping/music which I do on the laptop then its fine yeah?

I have an iPad which I use when I'm in the living room, and I use my MBP for more specific things i.e. programming/photo editing/web design etc.

I would go for the new iPad (iPad 3 as some people call it) rather than the older iPad 2.

But any tablet is definitely not a replacement for a normal computer/laptop IMO.
