I have converted to an s3 from my iphone, very impressed so far!

Can someone recommend me some apps and tips on getting around the phone? I keep having this other commands pop up...?

Stuck CM10 ROM on last night, like vanilla android a bit better.

Missing some things from the samsung rom like send to TV bit and gimmicky stuff like the PIP video player.

Widgets, browser, screen, the ability to almost endlessly play about with stuff, google maps, off the top of my head.

id miss the display, first thing i noticed with the iphone, how narrow it looked. Not a problem for just using it as a phone, but movies etc look much better on the s3

It is massive, was the only reason I didn't get one when it came out. Quickly get used to it. Because it's not built as well as an iPhone (one plus for apple) and it's not a solid piece of metal + it's really thin, it doesn't feel as big as it should in a pocket.

In summary, still big, most of the time you don't notice.

Not been confirmed. Also doesn't have to be because it's too big, they'll sell more if it's just another phone they were bringing out, but call it basically the same as the flagship.

It is, other than build quality, which I've said all along.

There's not one thing I miss about iOS. If the 5S is any good I wouldn't hesitate to swap back, loyalty isn't much use.

You're wrong though. We've seen numerous examples and tests in various threads showing how the lowlight camera performance is so bad it must be caused by some flaw, the screen is more pixelated than the iPhone 4 and has so incredible lousy backlight due to the nature of OLED that it can hardly be used in the sun.

So of course it's not better in every way. Neither is the iPhone. They each have their downfalls, so stop pretending otherwise.

Again, I don't mind that you prefer it. I can easily see the appeal. If not for the size I'd seriously consider the S3. But I'll not try to make others believe it's better in every single way, when it's blatantly a lie.
