thought i would start a project thread all be it will be a slow moving one as funds are tight at the mo

the vectra when i got her



the first mod



then fitted some wind deflectors




changed the front door speakers and tweeters for some pioneer items lots better



most recently bought some 19" snowflakes fitted them last sunday

Cheers I was think snowflakes for mine but got bored of trying to find a decent set with no cracks bit they do look awsome

theres a set on vvoc or vectra-c now at £350, they are badly kerbed but they all have tyres aswell cheap if you ask me

1.8 bog standard life although im pretty certain the engine is the same as they put in the sri

well its been a long while since I made any progress on the Vectra until this weekend gone.

knew vera wanted to be lower and after looking at budget coilovers I chose some jom items my friend has had them on his A4 for around 14 month now and he said he's never had any issues so bit the bullet and bought them.

really happy with how it sits now and not half as stiff I was expecting still need to get some smoked side repeaters, next on list is spacers on the rear wheels and mudflaps

so I got my mudflaps today



went outside to see how they fit and it looks like im going to have to drill a few holes , either that or they don't fit on the life model?

and also twatted my nearside wing mirror on my own gate post reversing onto drive

Looks good now it's lowered, the way you have parked it makes the front look really high though

yeh see what you mean to be fair it was the day it was lowered the fronts settled a tad more now.

really needs spacers but not overly keen on having no locking wheel nuts on alloys

You won't lose your locking wheel nuts if you get spacers which your wheels then bolt to like mine
