I've not been so would love to go but unsure if I can afford it.

Really enjoyed joining the CS stand from AC for PVS so would love to meet a few more people at Billing.

What are your next plans for the car?

Yes i thought it was good to merge CS and AC but we all know which is best

Next plans are buckets harnesses and a rear half cage but theyll have to wait untill funds allow

Ultimately id love to fit jenvey ITBs

Sounds good...as long as you mean a proper cage. Never got the appeal with show cages. So obvious they're fake, like carbon wrap. So obvious it's not the real thing.

Thank you for your comments mate.

Yes it will be a proper cage. Show cages are the most pointless thing ever because they look good but will make the impact much more dangerous in a crash which is the oppersite of the point!

What does it matter if he has? His car, his money.

Judging my "C20 XEL" - Im guessing it cost £399?

Cracking plate btw mate. Car looks awesome!

i dont understand at all, so many better things you could get for the money, or even a plate thats not going to be only relevant to one car.

only vaux people will even understand it, presumably at shows, so a £20 show plate would have done for that imo

This argument has been had a million times before. A private plate is for you. Not for other people. It's on a vaux. So pretty much the only people that are going to appreciate the car are people that will understand and appreciate the plate.
Everyone else can go swivel I guess

Yes it was £399. Thanks luke!

I see what you are saying tom but i already have a plate thats my name for my other car and this is just something i wanted. Ive had my eyr on it for ages but my car was only a 1.4 back then

I entirely agree with you flaffy, i think the fact most people wont get it is part of the appeal

That's one of the reasons I went for mine. It looks better looking standard than havering letters as numbers and all that. And the fact it sticks out in a vaux lineup is even better

My XE was the same, ended up living with it until the engine was taken out for a rebuild and bashed it with a lump hammer a few times. Although after a few weeks of driving hard like that it stopped happening as much as the pulley had ground enough of the chassis leg away

Agree with Sean, v belt lower pulley off a 8v injection lump, also lighter on the engine mass than the multi groove belt, then swap the alternator pulley for a single v belt off the same engine.

Cheers guys. I have a v belt pulley and alt but would rather use this alt as i know it works as far as i remember you cant just swap the alt pulley cuz the shaft is a different size so you have to change the whole alt!
