Another update now.

Yesterday I got my gearbox blasted and detailed and then took the sump off to change the gasket. Ive also changed the diff seals. More importantly my gauges are in and wired up!!

Also WTF is this? im sure i wasnt supposed to find it in my diff. I take it its part of a speedo sensor or something?

Well ive got my clutch and flywheel fitted and the engine is in its new temporary home (in my boot

) I also got my new car, well when i say new car ive bought back my 1st car a 1.0 club

Yer i wish i had done all my mods to the arden 1 and then XEd it. I do love my car but arden blue is definately the best Vaux colour.

Danny. Im sending the car off to spoox on the 30th april to have the conversion done as im moving job and so have lost my working space atm. This is going to work out well though as im getting the bay strenthed etc at the same time

i cant wait till then! My plan was to go on track at ppc but spoox have about 8 other cars to prepare for then so may be pushin my luck.

Engine looks well smart Cal, you running PAS !?!? and does it give you enough clearance to
the chassis running a multi-V belt set up.

No mate im not gonna have PAS. As far as im aware there should be clearance though, when i removed the engine from the donor corsa it had the double v pulley on snd there was clearance. Im uprating to the wider multirib alt belt though.

Lol. Still aiming to be going round mallory for ppc in the park in the XE. Thats middle of may but its pushin it. Will deffo be feady for pvs!

Yer ill try to actually challange you this time!

Im getting a bit carried away atm and once the engines running well i will treat this to:
Proper buckets (most likely sparco)
Omp steering wheel
Harnesses
Hopefully carbon or fibreglass wings, bonnet and boot.
Wellded in rear strut brace
Front strut brace
Ive got turbo/omp brakes to fit.
Ive got a Whiteline FARB to fit aswell.

So yer as i say im gettin carried away!

Ive just dropped the car off at its temporary new home in the capable hands of Spoox Motorsport. Im soo excited their work is absolutely top notch! So hopefully PPC is still possible.
