Set off to go newarke for the cs meet this morning and after 10 miles my inner pasenger side cv popped out of the gearbox an i lost drive. Lukily i managed to coast into maccy ds and waited for my dad to bring my jack and mallet over i got it home and checked it and it still seemed ok so ive done loads of short journeys to run it in checking the cv after each one. Ive done 200miles today so 301 in total. I didnt realise driving a 2.0 corsa could be so boring

Thanks dan, yes ive still got it.

Thanks darryl, it still needs a bit of tidying up (new coolant resy and possibly re-route the throttle and maybe fit the standard airbox) but other than that im happy with it.

Yes it was a shame i had been looking forward to it and it looked a good meet. For some reason my passenger cv popped out the gearbox on the way and i lost drive. Seems to be ok atm though. Hopefully it will make it round mallory park on sat

For anyone whos still interested i have fitted my turbo brakes with greenstuff pads and omp drilled and grooved discs. I have also had a willwood brake bias valve fitted in the cabin and replaced all the copper brake lines with braided ones which now run through the inside of the car. It looks nice im really pleased with it.

I will get some pics if someone wants to see some?

Ill get pics tomorrow. They run up the inside of the car through the bias valve which is next to the gear knob along the tunnel and then T and go out through the old seatbelt holes. Its all braided hose and stainless fittings.
