This is really not going well for me... Those hyper black wheels are out of stock and nothing will be coming in as they can't find any.

ch's it is then? He said the csl's are in stock but the rear offset is too aggressive.

What about them quantum 44 s4s in matt gunmetal? The matt bronze is nice too. I think they would suit well against grey

Not keen on them tbh. The ch's don't look too aftermarket, which I think is what I want.

Also, being 19'' the spokes are a bit longer, which I prefer.

I know they're the same as Gav's old wheels, but they're an inch bigger. Size does matter

Tbh I liked the ch's in the first place, but I wasn't sure on them as Gav had them and I didn't want to copy

Annoyingly, they're out of stock also

Spend money then begin to love. If you buy decent wheels they will be worth a decent amount come time to sell. It's never an entire expense

That is true, I just hate spending money

Quite fancy these, OEMS IFG6, after finding out the 1M and CH rep's are a no go! The concave rears look awesome.

Anyway, just bought 3 new tyres for my 18's, whilst I think about the 19's. 2 Hankooks and a vredestein. Very cool story.

I got a stone chip on one of mine halfway down a spoke

it seems easier to get the paint for the ST pack wheels. http://www.teamtorquesteer.co.uk/category-1167/2013-focusfiesta-st-rado-grey-alloy-wheel-touch-up-paint.html

I bought the standard one from that site, had good reviews not got round to doing it yet

heres the one I got for reference (http://www.teamtorquesteer.co.uk/category-1167/alloy-wheel-touch-up-paint.html)

Yes, those ones above, OEMS IFG6. Just need to man up and buy them

Tom, cheers for that, but it's taken a small chunk out of the rim. She won't be happy until it's gone.

Ok so changed my mind again. A Z4 forum member bought the alloys I Originally liked and when fitted, I think they look fantastic, so will be buying them. They're £60 cheaper and have a normal finish, as opposed to the machined face of the OEMS IFG6's, which I was worried about.

New Hankook S1 Evo2's came for my 18's also. Already had a newish vredestein sessanta on one front, so bought another to match the tyres on the same axle. Just need to get them all fitted now.

RIP dishes

I thought about the Hankooks - I really like their tyres.

Looking forward to seeing the finished article!

New tyres went on today. Needless to say they need some scrubbing in! Nearly lost the rear end after going into a tight country lane bend at a moderate speed

Obligatory tyre fitting shot:

When re-fitting my rear spacers, I noticed the spongy bumpstop thing on one side is at the top (along with the dustcover) when jacked up.

On the other side, the bumpstop thing and dustcover was all the way down, revealing the shock absorber.

What could cause this? I tried moving the spongy thing up and it just fell back down. Unsure if it affects anything?

Your bump stops are worn I'm guessing so it's just dropped down a little. Won't make much different when you sit it back on the ground

Oh ok, fair enough, cheers Gav

Hankooks are feeling nice and planted now with the 20mm rear spacers back on. Front end turns in very well also (no spacers).
