Collapsed on the pitch vs Spurs with nobody around him. Doesn't look good

Muamba received electric shocks/CPR on the pitch in attempts to revive him.

Game abandoned and rightly so.

Didn't realise he was so young until I checked on wiki. I really can't see this ending well.

I agree ben, I really hope he pulls through but latest report is they are still trying to resuscitate him in the ambulance.

That makes me think the worst, I truly hope not but I get the feeling we are going to get dead on arrival to hospital next

I reckon he was dead on the pitch, but they have to attempt still obviously. I have a horrible feeling he'll be pronounced dead on arrival at hospital

Hope it isn't something to do with him taking some sort of off the shelf fat loss or fitness enhancer, you can imagine the field day the british press would have

I got a feeling he was dead on the pitch,

Howard Webb has spoken to all of the players and officials and none of them were in a fit state to continue while they wait for news on Fabrice Muamba

Yeah. I reckon dead on pitch too but they wouldn't allow a player to be pronounced dead in on the pitch. They'll have kept going with resus/cpr knowing there was no or little chance.

It's shocking, has happened a few times before and unfortunatly ended badly every time I can imagine. Marc Vivien-Foe is the one that sticks in my mind

Fingers crossed for the guy but i'm thinking the worse

More likely that they cannot pronounce somebody dead without a doctor saying so.
