cheers HarleyMK its 25 years old and its called "car sheen" my dad used back in the day, the formula is top secret and he doesnt want the russians finding out haha, he said that you can still buy it from car auctions in 5 litre containers

got my new sidelights and headlights yesterday so my dad got them on this morning

sidelights are Philips BlueVision Ultra, to be honest i was a little let down because they advertise them to be really blue but its only a slight tint but the light is pretty crisp and white! which is pretty nice!


the headlights are Ring XenonMax bulbs and look stunning!


once i pass my test i will go out and take some proper pictures as these so far are quite poo!

not yet qed296.. just respraying them, doing the last wheel tomorrow then im going to let them set for a week hopefully have the spoiler and sportex exhaust on by the end of this week

got the spoiler back together and put some double sided tape on ready for fitting




my dad then made a template, he has to have everything perfect! thats why it takes so long to get something done haaha

Not a bad thing....taking your time can save you alot of problems when drilling.

yeahh i suppose so, im glad he has so much patience, i dont have any! ahaa.. yeah he keeps complaining that hes to old to be doing these things any more but i can tell that he still loves doing it

got the templates taped on so we could mark where we needed to do the holes..


was a killer seeing him drill holes in my car! ahaa


doesnt look like a granny car now :L








going to put my exhaust on saturday morning cant wait to see how it looks

looked better without the spoiler imo (but thats only cos i have a arden blue corsa b without a spoiler on) also i have cav expressions wheels on mine! sure they'll look good on yours! may need lowering abit though to pull it off!

ahaa thanks dan, im going to lower it once i have passed my test have you got any pics of your car? i would like to see what the expressions look like on, there right little beasts! ahaa, i dont think i have had the problem of wanting to go faster, not yet anyway ahaa, everything has to be done properly that my dad does, he wouldnt have it any other way, i think he is to much of a perfectionist tbh

theres my thread mate, not many updates and there wont be for a while as im skint, and saving for two holidays on a part timers wage!

atleast your dad is taking his time and making sure everything is on right etc. nice to see him taking an intreast in your car and im sure he'll enjoy it especially when you pass you test!

thankyou dan, will have a look now yeahh i suppose its good its being done properly, i enjoy learning how to do things aswell so im constantly learning yeahh they do get pretty dirty, im cleaning mine every four days at the moment with all this bad weather :/

im glad i have seen a arden b with expressions i wasnt sure how they look but i really like the look yeahh hopefully will be getting better over time thanks! im from Wrexham, northwales, you anywhere near?
