thought i would do a little quick update as i havnt been on here much lately, progress with the car is slow as im spending all my moneys on driving lessons, but i bought an Ecotec engine cover thingy a few days ago


i think it makes a hell of a difference, much cleaner looking now


also, realised the new grill has been catching on the bonnet so i put a few washers in so it cleared the bonnet all sorted now

also i gave the car a good wash today and decided to give the engine bay another wipe along with cleaning the underneath of the bonnet as it was rammy!

Passed my test! got these straight in the bin!


Swinton wanted me to change learner insurance from £2500 to over £3000 which i cant possibly pay, so he has given me cover for a few days so i can find a cheaper company, any suggestions for good young driver insurance companies? i loose my 7 months no claims aswell :@ ahh well eh, chuffed to have passed though

Thankyou! been loving the freedom! ahaa, admiral quoted me well over 3000 :/ thats with my dad as named driver to! Adrian Flux has been the best to far and if i can remember correctly that was just over 3000 -_- anyways.. went out for a ride and took a few pictures without the L`s

well done mate! took you long enough, i paid £2200 with adrian flux for my 1st year! all by myself but just third party by far the cheapest!

yeahh i wasnt very fast about it everyone i speak to has or had there insurance below £2500 at 17, i dont know what im doing wrong to be honest! im getting crazy quotes from all companies, face goes like when they say how much the policy would be

Bloody hell sack paying that much! Most I've ever paid is 1.3k, renewed my insurance yesterday was with admiral I'm now with elephant (same company) was paying 680 for 10 months. Now paying 660 for 12 not too had would of been 580 if I did 10 months again

Ring adrian flux up andy! they'll give you a better quote! , they knocked mine down by £400 just by speaking to them over the phone, plus they'll give you more (or they did with me) worth a try

Thanks for the sugestions guys! will be calling up a load of places this week while the cars off the road just fitted smoked astra side repeaters which i think look sweet!
