sounds like they got the timing very wrong and the pistons are now getting fruity with the valves.

sorted got to take it back down tomorow they going to look at it but i still agree timing chain still shudnt be that loud if its been sorted

have you checked they plugged any sensors back in that might have been unplugged?

the mechanice said to me your car is ready come down and get it he dint tell me it dint rev above 5k rpm until i got there i asked is it ok to drive he said yes then i got out of the yard down the hill and i noticed it was fucked i coudnt take it back because i could nto get it back up the hill it wont go up hills there is no power there at all nothing is my fauly they have had the car 7 hours it doesnt take that long to do a chain

had a look but seems everything is ok but we shall see tomorow what the garage say but they didnt exactly say we need to investigate ... they sed its running a bit flat thats it but chain is fine and

i once took my car for a service one and they said it would take a couple of hours and i ended up collecting it 6 hours later, i didnt moan, thats how car garages work sometimes unfortunately.

we did that my a mates 1.0 AX once, when he wasnt looking unplugged a lead and he drove around for a week on it on 3 cylinders only after a week did he twig it wasnt running right he was a bit slow though

If the chain is louder take it back, I'm sure there will be a perfectly reasonable explanation.

Some people should try working in a garage for a week or so, it's not all straight forward. Speak to them reasonably before you leap to trading standards and all that shit and you might get somewhere.
