I have been told that the power output of your amp should be the same as the RMS of your sub.
should the RMS of the amp be the same as the subs, or shuld the Max output of the amp be the same as the RMS of the sub. :boggle:

boggle boggle:::::::RMS matches RMS mate
but it's always better to over power a sub than under power it, so u can go a few watts over.

because when u under power a sub the amp works harder to drive the sub than if u over power one, by over powerin a sub ur gettin the full potential of a sub within drivin ur amp into clipping.
most good manufactures design subs which have better ratings than put on the box anyway.
