Is this watch a little too old fashioned? I'm not a day to day watch wearer, more special occasions...

I'm looking at the below watch -

http://www.thewatchhut.co.uk/Rotary-Gents-Les-Originales-Strap-Watch-GS90000+21.html

Also like an armani one which is similar, but Armani watches look quite tacky.

Isn't really something I would wear but I don't see it as out of fashion, just a smart and simple watch.

I don't like the Armani one though, looks a bit confused on styling, just a all round face looks better I think.

Does it have to be the classic look? Like a dinner watch.

Some change and the advantage of having 60/60 which is you can give it back upto 60 days later if it doesnt float your boat.

Armani is nicer. Not a huge fan of either. Bit plain for me.

Prefer the Rotary over the Armani any day. The one Pete_vxl posted is nice too in my opinion.

I thought you had a proper one?

Why would you wear a replica as a daily? Would be much better wearing either the real one or something more realistically sized.

Indeed I do.

Size wasn't the issue; damaging it was.

I don't see the the Getat and a replica, Panerai don't officially own the copyright on the Marina Militare design...much that the would like to think they do.

So I wear...lets call it an homage... on site where I dont care less if a brickie drops a block on it...and the Pam comes out when im not working

Bit more than I wanted to spend though.
