Bit more than I wanted to spend though.

That is lovely. If I wore a watch I would want it to look exactly like that.

That's fantastic looking. Love all three variations with leather strap.

Reminds me a bit of the Certina I have:

Also like an armani one which is similar, but Armani watches look quite tacky.

I never understand Rotary watches, they are over-priced SHIT... The brand carries zero prestiege and they are cheaply built tat..

If you are going to spend nearly £200 on a watch atleast find something thats worth the price tag

Having a load of old rolex's does not in any way show you know anything about watches.

I'd argue the opposite tbh.

Clearly I'm not as big an expert as yourself John, you are superior to me in every way possible but I do have a massive interest in mechanical watches and experience in watch making/repairs albeit hobby related which will obvioulsy never compete with your decorated career at several high end watch manufacturers.

I'm not an expert, a fan, hobbyist but not expert.

Rolex is for people who wan to to show they have a rolex, like you've just done.

It wasn't that he said plasma's are shite, which is a matter of opinion, it was that they were being produced solely because factories have the capability to manufacture them

DaveyLC - That is nearly £40k worth of watches (current RRP where applicable) there!?!

Surprises me that you have so many similar watches with little variance? Surely someone with a keen interest in high end watches would want to diversify their collection?

I wish I could bring myself to spend a few grand on a nice watch. I have the money and I appreciate the attention to detail and quality involved in some of them but I just can't bring myself to spend that much money on such a small, insignificant item
