Cut everything up last night, in a covered pot dry in the fridge.

Mixed up the oxo cube and left it on 2 all day. Meat was perfect.

I used a bottle of hobgoblin. I didn't really like the taste so will try something else next time.

Ive got the slow cooker on again today.

2ltrs of cherry coke and 1.5kg of gammon in it.

Going to make a cherry jam/red wine vinegar glaze, and roast it for 15mins after the 6 hours on medium.

Looks lush already, all turned brown. Smells fairly good too.

Put a nice pork loin in yesterday with cider, apples, mustard, onions, few herbs, perfect.

Ive never had pork so tender, it just fell apart. Had it with mash, sprouts, green beans, roast carrots and roast parsnips.

Same again tonight

Going to pick a bigger slow cooker up and get a turkey crown in there to see if it will work for crimbo, will fre up the oven for other goodies
