Ok I understand this black wire with the plug is the ignition live, I want to run this wire with the injector loom through the rubber sleeve and into the footwell so its hidden instead of joining them up in the bay. However I can't run it through the rubber sleeve due to the big plug.
Is it ok to chop the plug off and do away with it or is it needed? I don't want to chop it off then the car doesn't work then have to add it in again

Yes just cut the plug off and solder a longer wire to it or crimp a connector to it
