really late post for the billing pictures but thought i would put them up anyway.

set off at 8 in morning with the usual convoy. got to leicster services with only one slight problem and that was the old manat had a slight petrol leak.

few pics of the car down there

had alot of intrest in the car all weekend. even from total vauxhall which is promising.

such a good weekend and the weather was unbelieveable.

bought total vauxhall magazine today to see the corsa is in there. was a little bit surprised to say the least

shame that the car now looks like this

plans are full respray, need a fair bit of welding doing, retrim of the whole interior, smooth the whole engine bay, have the rear arches widened to allow 100mm drop, new engine (still unsure as to what v6 is going in ) and wheel refurb in smoke chrome.

toying with the idea of fitting electric power steering but still debatable as to whether or not it needs doing.

will keep updating as i go

Drive shafts are just the same as the XE ones as you use the same gearbox. I have a spare set if shafts and a spare engine mount if your lookin to buy some.

The hardest part about the conversion is the rear manifold as the standard one hits the bulk head. I will also be selling my exhaust manifolds and down pipe if a whole if your interested as I'm having tubular ones made

Well managed to get most of the interior out today. Will be getting a price on having the drivers and passages seat redone and well as all the door cards.

How she looks now

Also got the sun roof out. Don't realise how much they actually weighed. Will hopefully gettin the dash out tomorrow and then will finally start on the welding which will take quiet a while

well go the car completely stripped last week. not really as much rust as i thought there was gunna be. all of which is getting sorted by a mate in a couple of weeks due to him being on holiday and all its costing me is one of my spare F20 gearbox's so cant caomplain

few pics of rust

behind driverside rear light

boot floor, surprisingly the spare wheel well is ok

rear quarter behind wheel arch

driverside behind kick panel

rear panel under back numper

there is abit under the car, both chassis rails at front need welding and the steering rack mounting plate is coming away from the bulk head. also having the slame panel changed as the lad that had the car before me had bumped it, causing the light not to sit straight. oohhh and a strengthening kit welding in.

carried on stripping the rest of the car ready when it goes to the body shop which will probably be next year

under neath

petrol tank has seen better days

also picked up a read disc axle off J100RSA for a bargain price. has a few degrees of camber so should look ok

thats about it for now
