It's more the hardware for the games than the media they come on. Could go either way.

What disc format will MS be using?
Unless they go for something other than optical it will surely have to be blu-ray.

Not even you could go into the next decade still using 10 discs to fit a game on, it's like the days of installing Lotus Notes off floppys.

isn't going to be a new xbox, but microsoft are releasing a console.

i want to be like the people in the iphone nano thread and pretend i can't say no more.

but buy a PS4 and you will wish you'd of waited for the new microsoft console
