I would keep it for a wee while,then when you get bored,slap a turbo kit on it.Can be done pretty cheap and these motors love F.I.They respond well to it.

well the plan is to drive it around until the winter and i have the funds then bring it back into the garage for the turbo kit 400 dollars can get you everything you need. Then get it back out after that well thats the plans that are floating about now anyway.

its going to get the vtec head when its running yeah videos will be up mate soon as it fires up for the first time.

yerp the z6 is a sohc vtec, same on the 1.5 d15z6 engines

so your basicly fitting hte 1.6 none vtec and doing a mini me conversion to make it a z6 vtec head on the non vtec bottom end?

A vtec head? You mean a DOHC D series head? Tbh, you should just head straight for the turbo mate.

yeah am stickin the vtec head on it actually gives more power when it has the vtec head. and the bottom end is the exact same as the vtec only difference in the engines is literally the head. keeping away from the turbo until i have the funds to do the work.

yeah its a sohc but sure with a turbo 300bhp is acheiveable lol

My cousin had 320 bhp with his d16 turbo was fully rebuilt with anti lag so it is easy reached looks a intresting project be good to see it finished

she runs
just squirted petrol into the intake wired the corsa pump up after this and it worked no water is plumed yet so not running to to much for now.

cheers guys still a bundle more to do tho am off on the 12th so will get another day at it then and my mates got 2 weeks off so hes going to get a rip at it. was never so happy to hear it fire up ran longer when the pump was running fuel to it then wee cut it off Shouldnt be very long until its on the road.
