well you can think that lad but the guy thats helping me with it built a 214 rover that has 250bhp with 250lds of torque and is fit to run the 1/4 mile in the 13's and built a kit car and used to have a company that tuned cars so i think it will go well videos will prove you wrong.

13's with that power isn't really impressive. I'd be surprised if it didn't. And what does his knowledge of said car have to do with fitting a Honda engine into a Vauxhall!?

well i thought i might have had to give in to flybikeslee's remarks to day and was then on ebay hunting for throttle bodies and an msd ignition as the rover imobilser wouldnt let the engine crank over. Then we sat around thinkin on what to do so we removed the whole rover loom took everything out in the car and plugged it in the imobilser then went off and the started would only click and not engage so we hooked the jump leads and bang the turned over for the fist time. So were well on our way now just going to use everythig from the rover now and remove all the vauxhaul wires engine didnt fire up as we had no oil or petrol going as the imobilser held us back few night threw the week now should have the rover loom in and shortened next saturday she will be started.

it isnt bad time at all for the power and thats with a full interior and he has the satisfaction of knowing he built it himself.

Is it a D16Z6??

Brother had an EG Esi with that motor.Exhaust system and filter and it pulled 141bhp.Was a quick wee car tbh.

Reckon it'l go no to shabby in a Corsa.
