Joy - 6/10 - didn't really 'get' it. Maybe I needed more background info myself before going. That said, only went for JLaw.

Last Hunger Games - 7/10 - didn't think it was the best of them all but was still worth a watch to see the plot unfold.

Joy is based on a true story it took me a while to work out what was going on as the beginning was a bit odd but it got better towards the end

Haywire: 6/10

Although not a great film, which is odd given the director, cast and story premise. However it just lacks something. All said, you should watch it as it basically has the best fight scenes ive ever seen in a film.

I Origins - 5/10

Spoilers -

A scientist and his assistant discover something in eyes that will change society. They start studying hundreds of species and their sight. He meets a girl, they have boring conversations, they get married. His lab assistant calls him in to the lab as they have made a breakthrough in giving worms sight. Slight accident later and he gets formaldehyde in his eyes. They then get trapped in a lift, his girlfriend gets cut in 2 as they try and crawl out killing her.

The film then jumps forwards 7 years.

He has married his assistant, they have a child and they scan the babies eyes which brings up a middle-aged man. The test is re set wiping him off but the eye check suggests their baby may be autistic. the test shows several images, one being a diner which makes the baby cry. They decide to visit the diner and the middle aged man from the test apparently lives near there.

They run several database eye tests and decide to put his dead girlfriends details in. The data shows her iris's were scanned in India 3 months ago. So he goes over there to check it out. The eyes belong to a girl who has gone missing. He finds the girl and runs some perception tests. The results only came back 40% but when he tries to put her in a lift she gets hysterical thus making him think it is his girlfriend reincarnated.

Far too slow to start and didn't get going until the second half.
