Machete Kills - 6/10

No where near as good as the first one but still enjoyable. Could have featured more fake trailers as just the one was a bit disappointing.

Burnt - 6/10 - It's alright. Far too many similarities to the TV series, Kitchen Confidential, he did about ten years ago though.

The Ghost Writer - 5/10

Ewan McGregor is hired as a ghost writer for an ex prime ministers memoirs and gets involved in past secrets and allegations and ends up with his life in jeopardy.

All good so far, but the plot is so confusing and I couldn't even say who the good and bad guys were and why they wanted the book kept unwritten.

Think I will have to read the plot on Wikipedia

Steve Jobs - 7/10 - It's a good watch overall (yet to read Isaacson's book so not sure how closely it follows it) and it does highlight some of the key moments in Apple's success. But i'm not overly convinced by the Jobs character that's portrayed - he was suppose to have been ruthless and an absolute cunt (not just to employees but also his family/daughter/close friends etc) but Fassbender's character seems to be pretty tame.

A most violent year - ??/10

Amazing cast, brilliant performances, brilliant direction, suspense was top notch, score was great, period details were great.. Chastains boobs, excellent

BUT

Story was good per say, but felt a bit anti climactic and like something was missing but I can't put my finger on it.

Want to love it as the ingredients were perfect, perhaps needing baking a while longer

Ex Machina - 6.5/10

Not exactly what I was expecting and if the film ended like it was heading then I would have been disappointed (6/10) and if it ultimately ended like Caleb and Ava discussed I think it would have been the better, if a bit immoral ending (7/10) as it was different to that I decided to give it 6.5!

Taken 3 - 6/10

Bit meh compared to the first, but I liked the uncertainty surrounding Stuart.
