Agreed. Did the whole girl power thing without it being cringeworthy. Good actress.

Interstellar. Smoked too much and when he redocks with the spaceship after matt damon blows the airlock i thought i was going to have a heart attack so turned it off. Just got too dramatic and exciting. Have seen it before so know the ending

Chappie - 6/10

Meh, I was expecting more of him fighting crime a la Robocop. Instead he spent most of the film cowering like a little girl. Could have been so much better,

Cellular - 5/10

Oh my good this film sucks! It isn't even good on a corny Jason Statham action flick level

The interview. It was ok. Just ok, not good, not bad, ok. 5/10

The theory of everything. Redmayne is brilliant, I can't believe how amazing his portrayal of Hawking was. 9/10

Sicario 8/10 - Good film about Mexican Cartel stuff, slightly let down by the main woman's naivety

Catch .44 - 5/10

Bit of a Pulp Fiction/clever heistesque film rip off. 3 girls agree to a drug deal. Bruce Willis has prominent billing yet only has about 15 minutes of screen time. Forest Whittaker plays a convincing bad guy and at times was quite creepy. Better than the IMDB reviews would have you believe. As a plus point I can't fault the soundtrack.

Avengers: Age of Ultron - 5/10

Couldn't get in to it. There was too much talk about the issue of Ultron that ended up making the film boring. I thought the action alone would get me through but even that wasn't very good. Not sure why they didn't use the Quicksilver from X-Men, this guy didn't bring anything different and just means the two are even less connected now.

Daddy's Home 7/10 - Love Ferrell in everything but him and Wahlberg weren't as good together as they were in Other Guys. Got a shocking review off IGN which I felt it didn't deserve

Marvel can't even use the word mutants let alone use the same actors for characters as Fox owns them

The Martian 9/10

Quite true to the book although a bit rushed in parts. Very good still

Thats whack. Continuity across the different titles would have been so much better.

Exodus : Gods & Kings - 6/10

Very similar to Kingdom of Heaven in that Ridley Scott can make an epic film look authentic. Christian Bale's performance was decent enough, not sure I was convinced by Joel Edgerton. The "parting of the sea" scene was probably as believable as could be expected given how it was portrayed. Still doesn't take away from the fact that it was overlong, slow and and for the most part quite boring.

Yeah it's stupid, Sony did the same thing with The Amazing Spiderman but messed it up so the rights reversed back to Marvel and that's why we're now getting Spiderman in Captain America Civil War and a standalone Spidey movie where he's much younger

Kingsman: The Secret Service - 8/10

Quite enjoyed it. Good cast too - Firth, Strong, Caine, Jackson and Hamill!
