The Hunger Games : Catching Fire - 7/10

Equally as well made as the first, adapted well and looked just as good but obviously the first is better as it was all new.

The Hobbit 1: Extended 3D. 8.5/10

Visually phenomeMal, decent effects and now I've seen all three some of the more obscure bits have linked up and it all feels rather familiar and genuinely like a "My first LOTR" and it suits it.

0 is a bit unfair. I can think of many a crap films that are worse than D&D2.
It wasn't that bad, certainly a 5 minimum.

Cheap Thrills - 7/10

One messed up film! Guy goes to a bar after being laid off and bumps in to an old friend. They get drinking with a couple who pay them to do stunts and humiliating acts. The stakes get higher and the rewards greater. One stunt involves breaking in to the couples neighbours house and taking a shit inside their house. Things take a more sadistic turn and I was a little uneasy watching it as I had all sorts of images going on in my head. some of my fears were realised when the mutilation started. Low budget, well made and scarily believable.

Hardest part about watching the film is anticipating what is going to happen next.

When the game stands tall - 7/10

Based on a true story of the De La Salle high schools 151 game winning streak and what happens to them when they lose.

Pretty good if you're into american football films, even though the lead man was Jim "no emotions" Caviezel, who I'm amazed every time I see him in a role.

Dallas Buyers Club : 9/10

Excellent. Shame about the Abentador prop but that is literally the only criticism I have.

I thought he was incredible in that horrific Jebus film and he's great in Person of Interest.

Ace in The Count of Monte Cristo too

In to Stella - 9

Loved it, Matt Damon ruined it a little. Don't think he was right casting but good film.
