Mk4 astra uses a different spline pattern, I wanted to fit a coupe turbo wheel to my corsa but as with yours it wouldn't go on

As said, splines are different, You can't swap wheel controls either.

You sure the buttons can't be fitted to the Corsa wheel with a bit of bodgery?

If you look at the top image, Your see the wheel controls are screwed in, and the whole area around them is solid, Whereas the corsa wheel is all soft bendy plastic in the same areas, You might be able to bodge it, But I don't think you could make it strong enough while keeping it out the way of the airbag.

Haven't got a compatible wiring squib thing yet though so Airbag isn't working, nor the horn OR the Indicator self cancel...

The original pre-facelift Corsa Airbag squib wasn't compatible atall

If you get the buttons, wiring detangler and the wiring then thers no reason why you couldn't use them but it would involve a bit of work
