I know rear disc threads have been covered a few times, but can't find the information I need.

Sooo... I'm gonna be using the set up off a astra mk3 Gsi on a Corsa beam. These parts are being sourced. But I know you need different cables for different setups. Do I need mk2 astra hand brake cables? Or any other? Also do I need this black tri thing or can it be ran still with out one?



Any other info I could use would be good also.

That's where I got the idea for the mk2 astra cable from yours lol. Are you running astra Gsi setup to?

mine used the Corsa long cable and the short one off a Nova, my brakes were off a mk3 Astra.

I tried using a nova short half and corsa long half and its too tight

im using the mtech kit from lmfvauxhall on mines and it tells you to use the handbrake cable from a mk2 gte

mines uses the corsa short cable with the adaptors from the kit and then the rear cables are 1 piece from the gte

anyone know where to get the bracket/splitters (black and silver bits) in the pic above without buying the kit?

any cars it comes off?

its made for the kit, no car comes with it fitted, i looked for a while before just buying the kit

Ok so I need that then? Because when everyone says use a nova short Corsa long, is the for the new Lmf set up or the original rear set up? Ie 1 cable running to back then split at beam with a short cable or with that part so it's 2 separate cables? Cheers

Basicly what I mean is, can I get away with not using the black thing in the pic. And route the cable as normal but at the back the short cable I need to change?
