Losail is always a difficult track to gauge riders proper position. Stoner usually runs away with it (if he doesnt fall off). And the long straight givea advantage to the quicker bikes.

Lorenzo did very well to get infront of the 3 good hondas this season, The honda was riding around him on the straight!

Good first race from Cructchlow, whos had similar surgery to Rossi, but is also minus half his little finger. Hope he can break the top ten next race.

Yeah sorry like I said it's going to take a while. The Pramac Ducatis were what I meant. My Dad is a huge Rossi fan, and amost made me shit myself when Rossi was fighting with Spies, I thought he was having a stroke when Rossi almost came off, some strength to hold on with his shoulder still giving him problems.

Can't wait to see what Crutchlow can do. Like you said he had a good race, not bad to be in the points on your first race at this level, even with half your finger still on the track

Rossi wont finish infront of a fit DP this year, that honda is mental and he's easily 2 stone lighter.

^^^^^^^^^^ Unless some serious work is done on the Ducatti

I think Rossi needs more time with Ducati and his shoulder must be causing him a bit of grief. Stoner and Ped both look good this year already on the Hondas.

By the way Rossi's crew were talking, it seems this season is more about testing/fitness than winning. Saying that, there is no way a fully fit Rossi is going to make it easy for anyone

My predictions for the season are:

Stoner
Lorenzo
Pedrosa

Can't see anyone be able to keep up with Stoner, but 2nd and 3rd may be close

Yeah it will be close, think Lorenzo has the balls to push Pedrosa, and Pedrosa doesnt seem to be able to keep up throughout the whole race. Early days though so will be interesting

Pedrosa will crash out in at least 5 races this season and finish third IMO. I think He'll push too hard because of Stoner's performance as a team mate and needing to prove something of himself to Honda.

Either way, DP will leave Honda in 2012 and join Yamaha

Stoner's gonna kill it this year. Pedrosa will run him close though with Lorenzo even closer. Rossi will pick up his game later on, in another 5 races i reckon once he's sussed out that bike and his shoulder injury is fully sorted. Unfortunately with so many young fast rider's its going to be difficult for Vale to give away that many races before he starts winning.

I reckon Dovi will be out of the Repsol squad and Lorenzo will jump ship Next season. Imagine that team!

As much as i like Cal Crutchlow, i can't see him doing any better than Toseland unfortunately. Scott Redding in Moto 2 is Britain's best hope of MotoGp glory. Jonny Rea from WSB will do well if he can move over next season.

Just watchin FP2 and Stoner and Pedrosa going at it again!
