Hmm mine was built by Steve Milton and when this kids originally went wrong i said send it to steve and he decided to do his own thing and its fucked up again. I would say he has not really learned from others problems has he Could have saved him a further rebuild and a good few hundred quid. Still some never learn from others do they

couldent of saved me a rebuild as i have been in talks with steve for a few weeks for having more head work done and the squiters fitted , so its no more work having it decked

aslo i didnt send it to steve originaly as i wanted to build it my self, part of doing this car was so i could learn

tbh ron. seeing as you dont realy have any previous engine experiance i think youve done a fucking cracking job. and people insulting steves building skils arnt exactly helping are they.

been painting parts atm

give my spare driveshafts a paint as the ones on the car were leaking cv greese no matter how tight i did the jubilees up



gear box arm



and got sick of the silver gearbox, had some black hammerite but it was coming out like piss water , so decieded to copy what benn has done on his nova








should look good when fitted in the bay

Never use jubilee clips on cv boots those crimp bands work much better

Ben went lookin at my engine yesterday at lee h s hope u wud give us a lift with all the gay bits wen it comes to going in and lovin the red box shiuld of carbon rapped it lol

possy wont it be cheeper to just build a engine if your going to fit all that, just got back from a 11 hour round trip to drop engine off

I know I'm hardly impartial in this but.....

Pistons £450
Zlet pump and pickup £300
Clutch and flywheel £650

That's £1400 before you have even added the ARP's, rebuilt Coscast head, Cometic gasket, rebored block etc etc.

only said it mate as i bought chris suttins old engine and the only parts that have been left in my engine now is the bare head and the crank, which has had a re grind , wish i had just built mine from bare block , whould of been cheeper

pistons where standards, sold them on but not for much, rods killed them the other week, oil pump killed that , everything in the head has been changed
