thanks mate

took the 2 fooked wheels to a alloy repair place today and they said there repairable but will cost £210 to weld and powder coat them so looks like new wheels,

went and picked up a f28 with quafe yesterday off cemex on mig

how i got it

unbolted all the old mounts, linkage etc

and drilled and taped for the rear 3 bolt mount

went and got some nice shiney bolts to bolt it to block when ready

what are these plugs for??

and how ive left it over night to drain as much as i can out of it

One on the left is reverse light switch and on right is first gear boost controller

With a car with so much power I would modify the rear mount so there is an extra plate to bolt on like this:

well today i had a call from the welders, had some new feet made up for my ramp so i can lift the car with out damaging the sideskirts

still waiting for my mate to wire the ramp in for me

started cleaning the gearbox up, used gunk on it first and it came up pretty clean with it

i then took a wire wheel to it to get a bit more of

i was going to paint it first but im now thinking aboug having the gearbox polished lol so think im going to see some one who will take all the inside out on tuesday and see how much of a bitch of a job it is as its something i dont want to touch and then take the outside to get polished if it can be done , never seen a full gearbox polished so i think it will look good

i best get arse into gear then so have a motor!.

the 1st gear boost control i wouldnt worry about, you can map the car and set the boost so it comes in gradual to make the car alot more driveable like what we did on stoners LET
