Such an immense rebuild Ron

Must admit when i seen the first pics i was very unsure what to think but seeing the pictures of the build and now the finished article and the purpose it has been built for its growing on me more and more.

Well done

You'd need to be a right stupid bollocks to say anything bad about it, unreal car. Might not look the best to some, but ah well!

Brilliant update dude! Keep it up!

You know how you've drilled out the spot welds on the old seat mounts? Did you drill then right through or just the top of them? Any advice as to get them off? Cheers

Advice there a cunt to do must of drilled through half of them so had to weld them back up, just get a proper spot weld drill bit and don't use a screwdriver to lever up on as they go through the thin floor if you pull hard enough

I read all the update last night and wow what an update it was. I think it looks awesome now and still looked awesome before. This may seem petty but its the only thing negative(please dont take it the wrong way) after all the painting done i thought you would have colour coded the door handles? If thats the only negative thing i can point out then you have done an amazing job,you really have. Out of all the UK's front wheel drive drag vauxhalls yours is by far the most purposefull looking and no doubting you WILL get into the 9's. Cant wait to see it at pvs when we hopefully have weather you can get some decent runs down.

Shit the bed that's a lot of pics! That'll be my data allowance for the month gone I think!

Car is truly superb, all credit to you, especially with so much of the work being done by yourself. I'll echo what some others have said and admit I do prefer the looks from before but clearly it's built for purpose. Nice to see so much attention to detail too rather than just throw a fucked old engine in a fucked old Corsa and call it a drag car.

Fingers crossed for some better weather so we can see what it's capable of.

Cheers don't like them colour coded so they were re painted black with all the other parts , aim for this year is a 9 sec but that won't happen for a bit till the weather/track improves and the car is set up how I want it

I have some more ideas for the engine as long as the current specification remains reliable (if the block is strong enough).

What is his target/ideal power he wants? This already has quite an outstanding power output
