All shit talking aside, nice car but I genuinely prefer the standard S2000 wheels. The one's that are uber shiny, whatever they are.

If you know best and are happy with the way it drives/destroys those tyres - its your car. I simply offered my opinion that you are running far too much rear camber for a road car on road tyres doing road miles.

I'm not saying i know best, but to my knowledge other than tyre wear there shouldn't be any negative effects. Which is why i've asked a few times on here what negative effects there will be as people keeping say there will be but not backing it up..

thought your rear overfenders were, if not fair enough, you still know what i ment when i said that.

Rob, with you studying motorsport, I'msure you understand that the benefit of camber is that when the car rolls under cornering, it is at its optimum levels of grip when the entire tyre is in contact with the road.

I agree entirely with Adams point about it being more beneficial with semi-slicks, as to reap the benefits of that much camber, you must have a high level of grip anyway - quite simply to allow the smaller contact patch to provide enough grip to utilise the camber.

What I mean is that as you have the camber, when travelling in a straight line you have a small contact patch with the road. To be able to use the larger contact patch provided by the camber under cornering, you need enough grip to allow the car to roll - without enough grip the car will just slide away with you and won't be able to use the camber to its full effect. Hence the point Adam made about semi-slicks - yo'll therefore have higher levels of grip, meaning the car will hold on longer as it rolls, meaning you can then use the full potential of the suspension and its camber settings.

I do understand that Tom, but people don't seem to understand different cars work differently depending on there setup.

S2000's have alot of mechanical grip as standard and as far as i'm aware run not far off -2 rear as standard!

If Honda's engineers felt that was a good compromise on a standard 225 tyre between tyre wear, grip, safety etc. then running a 245 tyre with an extra degree and a a half of camber should only increase things, along with the wider track aswell.

Rob - Do you comprehend what I'm trying to tell you yet? I'm not saying car car looks crap, but I think it would drive a bit better in the conditions wyou drive in with less camber - try -2.5.

I think that would make the car look better too. I just think cars with too much camber (for no real reason) look a bit 'broken'. A bit like folk walking round with their jeans rouns there ass/legs just a bit wrong

Yeah i understand now, in the wet i won't create the grip to roll the car enough to use all the tyre.

However, in the dry i still think i will and it barely sees rain

Also, i have 3 - 4mm gap between arch and tyre, so to go less camber i'd have to fit a thinner tyre most likely, when i get my overfenders i shall probably do like you've said though

Facelift with APR lip i'm thinking, smoothed badge, plate holes and washers
