i have tried it before when i had a e30 bmw, didnt have it long enough to practice.

i plan to try it out more and practice, just the button helps a lot more if using the handbrake so it doesnt lock on when you want to take it off quickly.

but yer cant wait to do a bit of midnight drifting

Boot and numerplate panel came (boot damaged by courier!) so trial fitted em, decided against the boot (because cba to sort the damage)



prepped and painted the rear panel..



pulled out the 'damaged' are and tried 32mm spacers for the crack.. HELLA HELLA?



overnight parts from japan?





+ new wheel..



how the motor stands atm..



due to a little fabrication..

So whats the final plans with this??

All the pics seem to be on the drive with different wheels at different angles etc but then the last of the pics are always with the standard wheels on??Has it been used since youve had it??

final plans are to have it as a daily car, but dont want to use it untill spring..

so untill then im doing bits and bobs to it, trial fitting things etc, getting it how i want it looking so its ready for when i plan to drive it.

yh, the plan was to just do it matt black but think its going to look to much so chucked it in the shed..

on the look out for a splitter now, not sure which one to go for..

oem, gv or one off another car (rover 45 v6, laguna etc)

they look the same to me apart from ones got a light recess covered and the current doesnt?

ive heard about people using these, saying they have picked them up for like £3 at a scrapyard..

the polo splitter is quite short (even though they look nice and subtle), i want it to be quite deep so you can see it, but not look cheap/shit..

You noticed the fact that one had a light recess covered but you didn't actually notice that the same one had a light

i have stripped the white paint off the brake light, tempted to paint it matt black and use it for a bit, just like the look of the rear with just the matt black rear panel tbh..

il have to look at the gti ones, not sure what they look like..

from memory those seat ones are huge, will be like a snow plow

planned to an oil and filter change today but the bloody weather and im out all day tomorrow..

The cordoba one looks like the oem splitter. You're thinking of te Toledo one which is like a plough.
