Todays events..

started off like this (with no helpers and cut bumpstops)

so did a bit of this..

which we ended up with lots of this..

how the front sat after..

'scene test'

now it looked quite front end heavy, so we did the same to the rear..

end result (for now)

the rear is coming up 1 or 2cm, or maybe the front down instead

clearance underneath is just silly...

each to there own, but dangerous? are you sure about that?

the standard coilover kit when i bought it, the springs didnt seat properly in the 'original' spring cup mounts so by cutting them off and leaving enough of the cup behind the coilover springs seat...well perfectly tbh, and for the bumpstops they were huge and dont need to be that big (i know from experience)

the spring seat perfectly, still have enough travel for an ok ride (never going to be a maybach ride quality obviously)

so in all fairness there safer then they was before but i have got them to go lower (they stated -120mm drop but i barely got -70mm as they were)

as said before danny i wouldnt have smacked up a mint wing/arch, it was already dented etc so going to source 2 mint wings and get them painted (and store them to fit when i come to sell the car)

thanks for the comments so far, and jake i will get a pic of the underneath..

So you've bought a car who's only good point is the handling, and fucked it up, sCeNe.

But i honestly dont care about the car handling like it was designed to, at this moment in time it drives/handles just fine like it is. As i have said the back is coming up slightly to get it sitting right but i would rather just do the speed limit everywhere than speed down some country lanes for example.

But yh exactly, i dont like others peoples cars on here but i still dont go round saying theres looks shit and fucked up, just dont see the point in it tbh, i dont mind comments if they dont like how low it is but the comments i have pointed out are pointless imo..

once i source some other wheels the arch gap will be a little bigger so wont be that tucked in the arch, so wont look 'broken'..

is that a good thing or? lol

i dont just lower them as much as they can, i just do it so im happy with how the car sits/looks, i mean the rear is now a little to low and doesnt look right.

So will be getting the C spanner back out soon to higher the rear 1cm (ish) and maybe take down the front a touch

need to trial fit the modernlines back on now the car is closer to the black stuff..
