There are only 2 different Corsa masters IIRC, one with 2 unions the other with 4? (It's casting my mind back about 5 years!?!) so upgrade within the range isn't possible.

I have heard you can fit a mondeo master but I do not know which one and I cannot confirm it.

What do you mean not up to the job? Everyone else runs a standard master with-out problems.

there is no easy fix mondeo one has to be modded iirc ,bleed well and fit st/ steel brake lines, have a v6 set up works ok but the master does let the whole package down a bit still stops ok.

dot 5.1 will not make pedal harder or soft is just have raise boiling point ! the master cylinder is small even for the standard brakes maybe you can try a cavalier 2.0 master cylinder if you lucky to find one as was told it will fit or a mondeo one with remote reservoir bottle
