I've just invested in some polybushes for the Corsa and I'm wondering will the rear beam have to be completely removed or would it be possible to just undo the mounts then pivot it on the damper bolt and block the wheels up to avoid having to disconnect all the brakes etc.?

The reason I'm asking is because both bleed nipples are rounded and when I tried to change the wheel cylinders, I couldn't get any of the bolts or brake pipes undone therefore having to remove it would be a right ballache because I'd need to drill the bolts out for the wheel cylinders and possibly replace the brake pipes, and it also brings up the question of whether or not to fit my disc rear beam instead but I probably wouldn't have time/money to fit a bias valve which I suspect will be needed due to the Corsa being stripped out.

So any ideas?

what you suggested. however id undo the trailing arm mount bolt, and the shock bolt on one side so it will give you more room to get the old bushing out

Cut the ends of the brake pipes and flare new fittings back on.
