The only thing i can think is the website creates player pages when they load the speculation on there, does it automatically so they have his details on or something, United definately won't do this for every player manually

Probably a search engine which automatically generates player pages.

But Cosmo is right, you probably do it because you think you've bought them already.

7.5M aswell, if rumours are to be believed thats not too much off what Ozil is going for, Really doesnt make sense considering we have such a plethora of strikers, especially the lieks of Diouf Macheda & Welbeck coming through

Pic of said unknown

We always say no more signings then we sign a Manchu Wok or a Pob. I know Fergie has a nack of signing unknowns, Solskjaer being a brilliant example, but for the love of god sign a big name!

Thing is these unknowns aren't exactly cheap at £7.5m for Hernandez & this guy or £10m+ for Smalling Best hope they pay off!

Bit more story here http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/aug/11/manchester-united-sign-striker-bebe
suggested by Carlos Queiroz, wonder if this was when Fergie was over in Portugal to give evidence as a character reference for him

This concerns me: United have paid the buyout clause to release Bebe – who was raised in an orphanage after spending part of his childhood on the streets and has represented Portugal in the homeless World Cup – from his five-year contract at Guimarăes only five weeks after he joined the club from Estrala da Amadora in the Portuguese third division.

So he signed a 5 year deal and we had to buy it out only a matter of weeks later, christ what a waste of money, couldn't we of got on to him earlier and saved some money?

Also they claim Fergie stayed behind after the Fulham match to talk to Werder Bremens officials.

No, never, he knows what he is doing.

I'm questioning the scouting though for not deciding we wanted him before he'd signed a 5 year contract with another club

Why not? He never had it in the first place, he bought the success and now others can trump them, it's shown his level.

Someone like Wenger who can compete at that level on a shoestring budget is a genuine great, not some bacon faced arsehole who taps up players and buys success.

It really is a shame that money means someone will go down with a reputation that they didn't deserve. If he had to work with the money Wenger has they would be in the Championship.

Not even going to bother with that tripe. That's poor, even for you. Did you forget to log out as Rick Draper and post that?

The stats are there to back it up. The typical wanker United fans cry at City for buying success (which they are TBH) and at Chelsea for the same (who were already successful but they forget that as they are wankers!) but United spent about £30m on Rooney, Ferdinand, Veron etc.

The fans are just fucking knobs. They bought their way into that position so it was easy to maintain until Blackburn came along, pissed on them but couldn't sustain it. Of course they bought the success you daft bastard. The last GREAT, truely GREAT manager was Clough.
