Black badges look good - reminds me that I need to get on and paint mine - I did them with permanent marker on my 6 Sport as a trial and they've been like it since...

Permanent marker Get em done properly mate you can do them in a day easily, I took mine off at 5pm, kept popping out to the shed to add another layer every now and again up until about midnight where I left them overnight to dry and put them on in the afternoon

PM is full of win - almost as pimp as putting tights over lights...
They came out really well, I'll get them done when I get some time at home to do them 
The only thing is that the main emblem seems to be a stuck on one, not pinned like the bit saying 'Mazda', so relocating it centrally may be a pain if I bother to refit it atall.

Yeah the MPS badge is only stuck on so had to look at old pictures to get a rough idea of where it was meant to go lol. The other 2 had locating holes so was easy.

Just a little update really...
Tidied my calipers up as they were looking tired after many trackdays and winter...
I'd been noticing the car feeling a bit slow, I wasn't sure if that was just me getting used to it, but I had a look under the engine to see if I had a boost leak and found this!
The clamps despite being Mikalor clamps had worked themselves loose so I'll have to keep an eye on them. And also where oil has been coming out of the oil breather and into the TIP, this has been putting oil into the FMIC which is why there is oil all the pipes. So I spent the afternoon stripping it all off and cleaning it out.
Been told to look into a catch tank, but the guide on the american Mazdaspeed forum seems to be insanely complicated?

The next issue was I want to get my suspension setup properly but the Mazda 3 standard strut doesn't allow access to the BC Coilovers adjusters, I brought the issue up with BC themselves and they said it was something they couldn't do anything about as it was down to car design, which is fair enough. So I had a way around it:

That is by far the scariest thing I have ever done so far But I am very happy with the finish and I got the result I wanted. Now should be getting it setup this week before my trackday on Friday
Still waiting for the JBR Rear ARB to turn up and CP-E Rear Engine Mount, customs are taking ages!!

Same and i cant jack the rear up too high as the splitter on the front hits the floor

Lol I don't have that problem it just about touches the floor as the splitter is only small.
It was scary, and the drill was 'lively'

At last my JBR Rear ARB (smaller than I thought!) & CP-E Rear Billet Engine Mount arrived!
Gonna fit it tomorrow.
Had my car setup today and it's driving alot nicer. It turns in very quickly and accurately and that's noticed only by driving around normally. Just need some clear dry road to test it properly before Friday!

Ermmm that's a tough one really. They're quite good, until they get very hot, then they just go so soft they were just understeering everywhere. I noticed this particularly at Castle Combe & the last 1/4 of Nurburgring as there's more harsher cornering than Silverstone for instance. I shouldn't imagine they'll be too bad at Brands tomorrow. Thing is the next upgrade is the likes of Toyo R888's or Yokohama Advans AO48's, which are £1000 in my size

Ahh right cheers, i know what you mean about R888's, they are about £450 in 15's for me, but cant justify that amout for the amount of track days i'll do.
Got Proxes on atm, unsure what they would be like on track.
